Management And Strategic Executive (MASE) Coaching and Consulting Services was founded in Sonoma County, California in 2023 after founder Dr. Anita Maldonado worked as Chief Executive Officer and in C-Suite level positions at several non-profit organizations for 25 years and realized that more representation was needed in the Executive, C-Suite, and board of director level positions. Having experienced and managed many executives, senior staff, and other organizational transitions in institutions both large and small, Anita experienced the many barriers that women of color leaders face in the non-profit world such as racial and gender bias, salary inequity, intense scrutiny, and hyper invisibility despite having the highest level of education. Anita decided to create MASECCS to guide, mentor and coach future leaders so they can successfully navigate the barriers early in their careers.

A new leader is only as successful as the organization she leads. MASECCS offers transitional leadership to non-profits in cases where there is a gap between leadership. MASECCS offers a menu of consulting services to help the organization with capacity-building to help with its long-term success and growth by providing women of color the tools to help manifest their dreams MACECCS was developed to:
● Coach women of color who are new or are on track to be in the Executive/C-Suite Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Program Officer (CPO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Development Officer (CDO)
● Provide transitional (roving) CEO consulting services to non-profit boards of directors and executive leaders in growing, evolving and/or challenging environments
● Provide individual and group consulting services for new leadership on-boarding, strategic and transition planning, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) Training, grant writing, program development, board recruitment and governance training
